Spring Cleaning

Spring Cleaning

When we think of the term “spring cleaning,” we think of getting rid of that pair of jeans in the back of our closet that we never wear. I recommend everyone examine their closets, but that’s not the type of “spring cleaning” I had in mind.

I want to encourage you to purge your life of any unnecessary negativity. Life is neither easy nor perfect, but why settle for anything less than living your best life? Whether it’s a romantic relationship, friendship, or unhealthy lifestyle… what are you waiting for? Why are you allowing anything or anyone to drag you down?

Make yourself a priority. Put your mental, physical, and spiritual health at the forefront. Don’t crowd your life with things that have no business being there.

I know it sounds cliché, but life really is so precious. None of us are promised tomorrow. We could lose it all in the blink of an eye. Fill your life with meaningful and fulfilling experiences.

3 Quick Tips for Improving Your Life Today:

1.     Take a step back. Fully assess all the factors in your life. What needs to go?

2.     Give yourself permission to do away with any person or thing that no longer serves you in a positive way. Often times, we hold on to people and things because we feel guilty or obligated to have this person/thing in our life. Get rid of this silly notion.

3.      Draw closer to Him. When you have a close relationship with The Lord, you can see things more clearly. If you listen, He will let you know who and what needs to go. If you pray about it, He will reveal the answers to you. Ultimately, He knows what each of us needs for a pleasant and peaceful life.
